Deux tortues trouvent un chapeau. Elles sont deux, il n’y a qu’un seul chapeau. Que faire ? Mieux vaut oublier cet objet qui ne peut être partagé. Le soleil se couche, puis la nuit tombe. Il reste à rêver de ce beau chapeau… Un texte très simple, des illustrations minimales : les tortues, le chapeau, un brin d’herbe, un cactus… avec de jolis fonds aux tons gris. Un très bel album à conter, jouer, transposer…
Two turtles find a hat. There is only one hat for the both. And the hat looks good on both of them. What to do ? Better forget this object that cannot be shared. The sun goes down and night falls. The beautiful hat remains to be dreamt of… A very simple text and minimal illustrations : the turtles, the hat, a blade of grass, a cactus… on pretty backgrounds in shades of grey. A very nice album to tell a tale, play, and speak about dreams and friends.
